Norwich InterFaith Link

Norwich InterFaith Link is a meeting point for people of diverse religions, cultures and communities, to share experiences and beliefs. In new friendships and shared concerns, bonds of trust are born. We meet monthly, for talks on challenging topics, discussions on issues of common concern, with occasional visits or other activities.

Norfolk Community Safety Partnership (NCSP) requests we pass this on to hopefully complete and advertise amongst the different communities you support to gather insight from residents and partners on perceptions of crime and anti-social behaviour in their local area. While Norfolk remains one of the safest counties in England, the survey helps identify ongoing community safety concerns and areas for improvement at a local level.
- The survey takes around five minutes to complete
- Your responses are confidential/anonymised
- The survey closes 24th July
Have your say – complete the survey here: bit.ly/4vpLHH2.
Thanks to all who came to Eaton Park on July 8th to fly kites for justice, where both Linda and Fiona spoke from their own authentic experiences. “What an exciting way to show solidarity with the Burin kiteflyers and their global appeal for justice.” It was brought to our attention by a Norwich Interfaith member, so I bought a kite locally for £3, and met lovely people in a park to picnic and share our support, then donate.

Norwich Interfaith Link Meetings
During the winter months many of our monthly meetings take place by Zoom video link with members on our mailing list given details and reminders by email. During the warmer months we look for opportunities to meet in person.
We welcome your suggestions for topics, places or events that may be of interest to our members. Please contact David, Chair to discuss your ideas
Our July 29th Zoom will continue this month’s theme of a celebration of South Asian heritage. Melissa Hawker from the Ancient House Museum in Thetford will enlighten us about Thetford’s link with Maharajah Duleep Singh and his family, brought to England from India by Queen Victoria to live at Elvedon Hall, and be her guest in London, revered by UK Sikhs.
