A summary review of Norwich Interfaith Link activities during 2024
December 2024
Many thanks to Nuno and his church members for paying our Zoom annual subscription for next year. I circulated his invitations to their Christmas celebrations, and Ujjal and I attended with our wives on Sunday evening. A really enjoyable event.

November 2024
I was invited by the Dean of Norwich, in early November, to a meeting with the Lord Lieutenant Lady Dannatt, and the Lady Mayor, and Rev Mark Dimond from King’s Lynn to discuss how to strengthen support for the recognition of the importance of InterFaith work. They agreed to organise a celebration of National InterFaith Week next November involving members of different faiths in the planning.
Bridget – Baháʼí; Gayatri – Hindu; Ujjal – Sikh and Nuno – Mormon, represented NIFL by laying wreaths at City Hall for allies from all over the world who gave their lives in wars.

Chris Wood – Pagan represented us when turning on the Christmas Lights in Norwich

The Coat of Hopes will arrive in Norwich on the 27th February 2025 and leave for Lowestoft on the 22nd March 2025. It will be hosted by Norwich Quaker Meeting but we are keen that it should visit, and be displayed in, as many places as possible.
It is a Coat of squares added to by people committed to keeping the Coat walking and working whilst the climate and ecological situation remains an emergency.
